Slow Leak Bluegrass Band

Bob Gass was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on May 14, 1968. When he was four, his family moved back to their home area of Trenton, Missouri here he graduated from high school in 1986. Bob graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1990.

Having had absolutely no musical training at all, Bob was forced to pick the music up entirely by ear during the past several years. That, coupled with regular late-night “training” sessions conducted with Travis Mullenix have converted him into one of the top two or three bass players in the band today. As a matter of fact, Bob has received fewer than ten nominations as the IBMA bass player of the year.
